Horror find for herd boy

The boy stumbled across a decomposed body.

A HERD boy keeping an eye on livestock in Mbotsha, Bhobhoyi stumbled across a decomposed body in the field on Tuesday this week.

Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Captain Vuyiani Rini from the Port Shepstone K9 Unit, together with his search and rescue officers, went to the area.

“Two search and rescue dogs were also dispatched. Within minutes, officers found the badly decomposed body of a man,” she said.

The deceased was wearing a black knitted cap, brown T-shirt, black jeans and green takkies.

“The cause of death is still to be determined by means of a post-mortem. There was also a red and white bead bracelet around his left wrist and a silver chain around the right wrist,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
