‘Hot’ wheels recovered in Mkholombe

The quad bike was found abandoned at the Mkholombe informal settlement.

A FOUR wheeler (quad bike), which was recovered in the Mkholombe informal settlement near Bhobhoyi last Sunday, is suspected to have been stolen.

According to police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, Warrant Officer Patrick Gosling from Port Shepstone SAPS, received a tip-off about the four wheeler which was parked in Mkholombe.

“W/O Gosling proceeded to the area and found the four wheeler abandoned. It was taken to the police pound for safe keeping,” said Lt-Col Wiid. She added that information police received was that the item was possibly stolen from the Izotsha area.

Anyone who had such a four wheeler stolen is asked to contact Port Shepstone SAPS at 039 6881004/1005.
