Update: N2 protestors threaten to march to Sheppie CBD

More police officers have been deployed to the area.

THE N2 service delivery protest is intensifying and it is now believed that 4 000 protestors have gathered.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said the protestors have indicated that they intend to march to the Port Shepstone CBD.

She added that the police’s air wing has been mobilised, and officers from surrounding stations have been called into assist.

Motorists are urged to avoid this area.

  1. I personally think that is childish they must stop before another problem will service because the road users who does make use of that road will not tolerate that bull….. If they want war they will get it. Just something I foreseen in a vision so controle them please

  2. Why is it always the people using the road that get punished. We have absolutely nothing to do with them not having water. Where I live we don’t get municipal water either. But still have to pay rates.
