Awards for sportsmanship for Hlanganani learners

Well done to the learners and committed coaches for flying the school's flag high.

Hlanganani Preparatory School held a special assembly to award certificates and trophies to the learners who showed great teamwork and dedication in the volleyball tournament held at Marburg sports ground recently.

They displayed excellent sportsmanship on and off the field and made us very proud.

The Grade 3 boys’ cricket team attended a SNCU Mini Cricket Festival at Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday.
Well done to the learners and committed coaches for flying the Hlanganani Preparatory flag high.

We have been busy with assessments and the learners have been working hard, as well as being creative with their tasks and projects.
We have been doing science experiments and creating art work as part of the curriculum.

Last week, Bheki Shezi who is a road crossing guard, visited the school to remind learners about road safety. He explained to the learners that his job is to help learners cross the road safely.

He is stationed at the robot to regulate traffic, slow down vehicles and stop drivers from entering the crosswalk to ensure that children have enough room to cross the road safely.

We thank Bheki for keeping our learners safe at the crossing, as well as coming to the school to teach the learners about road safety.
The school closed on March 17 and we wish staff and learners a lovely holiday with their families. The school re-opens on April 12.
