From the Bowling Greens

Results from some bowling clubs on the South Coast.

RIVERSIDE
Winners of the JL Panelbeaters Ladies 4s League was Pat Lyle’s team from Port Edward with an excellent score of 22 points.
Barbara Egan, from Riverside, ably stepped in when one player from Port Edward had to pull out at the last minute.
In second place was Kobie Stander’s team with a score of 20 points, namely Kobie, Dora Vosloo, Winnie Hess and Judi Faulconbridge.
Third place went to Trixi Smith, Yvonne Bausek, Heidi Bracegirdle and Jeanne Gregoria.

MARGATE BC
The JL Panelbeaters men’s trip was won by Ernie Southward, Theo Vorster and Dave van As.
Runners-up were Tiens Zietsman, Clive Cowan and Johan du Preez.
Session winners were Gary Hess, Ron Vink and Mervyn Barratt.
Lucky draw was won by Ron Vink.
Winners of the women’s pairs were Lenie Geyer and Maureen Muller.
Runners-up were Trixi Smith and Yvonne Bausek.

TWENI
The Tweni Pharmacy men’s pairs was won by Des Grieb and Frik van Rensburg.
Runners-up were Mike Findlay and Derick Celliers.
Session prize went to Albert Munnik and Colin Abood.

Runners-up in the women’s pairs at Margate BC were Trixi Smith and Yvonne Bausek.
