PS Secondary’s Tekara takes top honours at awards day

All grades scooped distinctions and received awards.

Port Shepstone Secondary announced the coveted Dux awardee recipient Tekara Ramdhun at the school’s glittering annual awards day ceremony on Tuesday this week.

Her 96% academic aggregate displays her exemplary work ethic and zeal for education.

She secured seven subject distinctions and bagged the highest subject distinction in six subjects.

The Dux Approximae was awarded to Sabera Ramjoo, a close contender displaying a strong, scholastic academic record by obtaining distinctions in all seven subjects.

Sunali Parbhoo, an industrious, self-motivated learner placed third in Grade 12 and also scooped distinctions in all seven subjects.
Shining stars in other grades who were placed first in their respective grades were: Grade 11- Zahra Moosa (seven subject distinctions),

Grade 10 – Jaiden Govender (six subject distinctions), Grade 9 – Ethan Neil Naicker (nine subject distinctions) and Grade 8 – Scylla Pillay ( nine subject distinctions). We wish all our awardees every success in 2023.
