Electricity out in Sheppie and surrounding areas
Eskom cables were stolen in Lions Grove during load shedding earlier this morning.

Parts of Marburg, Palmview and Port Shepstone CBD have been without electricity since 01:00 today.
Ray Nkonyeni Municipality (RNM) said in a statement that it’s aware of a power outage that is affecting Marburg Industrial and Port Shepstone CBD areas due to a fault at Eskom’s Marburg substation.

Eskom technicians have been notified and the municipality is awaiting its technical teams to locate the fault and report back to RNM or to advise how long it’ll take to repair/restore power.

Reports have also come through that cables were stolen in Brighton Road, Lions Grove during load shedding this morning.
