With regards to the interdistrict 2023 teams, congratulations to AMBC‘s Liesje de Rosner and Helen Turk for their selection to represent the Kingfisher District in the Women’s Veteran side. Annatjie Kidd is selected to represent the B side.
The Enzo’s vouchers for the winners of the women’s trips went to Sue Mathias, Marilyn Folly and Georgie McKechnie with a score of 4+35. Runners-up with a score of 4+24 were Tina Olivier, Marie Vosloo and Sylvia White from Scottburgh. They received vouchers from Penn Valley. The session prize with vouchers from Umdoni Park Restaurant went to the combined team of AMBC and Widenham of Hilary Holmes, Jeanette Els and Pam Spring with a score of 2+11.
The J Leslie Smith & Company Inc men’s trips were played on October 1. The winners were Phil Myburgh, Henry Hampson and Fred Hutchins with a score of 4+18. Runners-up with a score of 4+13 were Keith Findlay, Mike Harvey and Brian Navias. The session prize went to Mally Swanby, Jerry Davey and an Adam with a score of 2+10.
