The fundraiser was enjoyed by all.

The first Darts League and Family Day fundraiser for the Ramsgate Lions Club Hunger Alleviation Programme was held at the clubhouse on September 3.

According to the club’s Roland Lemmer, the event took place at the Lions clubhouse and started off with a car boot sale, a craft market and an art exhibition. All proceeds were donated to the Hunger Alleviation Programme.

Later a mini cricket exhibition match for players aged eight to 10 was hosted. Maser Security also did a presentation with their highly trained dog ‘Raptor’ and the performance was described as powerful, dynamic and mind-blowing.
