Scottburgh soccer girls dedicate victory to women
A match was played between Scottburgh High and Umzinto Secondary Schools.
The energetic and highly talented girls of Scottburgh High School (SHS) and Umzinto Secondary School played a friendly soccer match at SHS recently.
This was the first interaction between the two local schools on the sports field in 2022.
There is often a pre-conceived notion that soccer is only for boys, however, these female soccer stars have dispelled any stereotypes and proven their immense worth in the sport.
The result was 7 – 2 in favour of SHS.
The first team girls dedicate this victory to all the strong women of the community in celebration of Women’s Month.
