Margate primary has been busy

Mitchell was the winning house.

It has been a busy last two weeks at Margate Primary School.

Firstly, the trials for the inter-house sports were held, teams were chosen.

The main event took place in beautiful weather last Wednesday.

The learners were well supported by parents and friends.

Mitchell was the winning house and the Relay cup was won by Reid House.

Senior Victor and Victrix trophies were won by Mihlali Khusi and Amahle Gwacela respectively.

The school then had a visit from Dingo, who brought some interesting animals and reptiles to show the students.

To end the week, the senior boys soccer team, who have been hard at practise, won a beautiful trophy and soccer kit (donated by Luckys valued at R6000) at the Port Shepstone Senior Primary soccer tournament.

Anelisa Shusha was named player of the tournament and coach, Gershion Lawrence won the trophy for the best coach.
