Hooked on fishing: Fishermen clean up flood debris

After cleaning up it was time for fishing.

While most South Coast beaches were flooded with debris after the heavy rain, there were some kind-hearted fishermen who lent a helping hand and cleaned up some fishing spots on the coast.

Kobus Janse Van Vuuren caught this king fish at Splash Rock in Port Edward.

Those that went out and cleaned-up the debris, you guys made a huge difference. Thank you!! Let’s see more of this take place along the entire coastline. It is quite common now that you’ll find evidence of humanity washing up just about everywhere. Taking the time to clean up beach litter has numerous benefits, and most importantly saving animals.
