Golf gets going again

Golf at Port Shepstone CC was, unsurprisingly, not played due to the effects of the flooding.

Wednesday’s golf at Southbroom GC was rained out, but an Easter Alliance was played, despite the windy, wet weather, last Friday.

This was won by Pierre van der Walle, Christer Solgevik, Neill Crossey and Rob Meydell on 77 points.

The next day’s competition was won by Bob Thomas, James Thomas, Gavin Sole and W Vorster, from Jurie Mathee, Pierre van der Walle, Johan Wentzel and Brian Jolliffe

Golf at Port Shepstone CC was, unsurprisingly, not played due to the effects of the flooding.

However, the club will host the Port Shepstone Rotary Golf Day this Saturday, in aid of the Flower Foundation.

Fortunately, the rain has stopped (for now, anyway) and the sun has shone brightly for a few days.
