At around 14:00 today, a shooting took place on the busy Watterson Street in Marburg, in which two people are believed to have been shot dead.
Police are on scene and an official comment is being awaited.
Occupants of a white VW Golf 7 found themselves under a hail of bullets which were fired through the windscreen and the sides of the car.
It is believed that occupants of a silver Ford Ranger fired high calibre ammunition at the target car (VW Golf).
Many onlookers were left in shock and disbelief as they crowded the vehicle that had bumped two other vehicles.
