Lions make play time fun for creches

The Lions also handed over Spekboom and Natal Bark trees to be planted in these areas.

The Scottburgh Lions Club was able to put smiles on the faces of the children at Vulindela, Bringing Hope, Hope Care and Stop and Go creches in the Umdoni District through playground equipment donations.

Children at the Hope Care Creche waste no time getting onto their new bikes and trikes.

Members of the club recently worked extremely hard and put in a great effort to erect swing sets at the creches, and to add to the fun, tricycles, bicycles and other goods were presented to the children as well.

The Lions also handed over Spekboom and Natal Bark trees to be planted in these areas.

Lion Colleen Brown stated that this project was successful in bringing much-needed joy to local children and that there was a lot of excitement when the children received their playground equipment.
