Budding scientists at Merlewood Primary

Well done to the learners who participated.

Merlewood Primary School was awarded second place in the recent Ray Nkonyeni Science and Innovation competition.

The theme of the competition was ‘Ways to reduce the impact of climate change’.

Learners created a non-electric stove that worked by solar heating panels which were painted colours that attracted heat.

Well done to the learners who participated.

The school extends an invitation for companies or people who collect paper for recycling.

Please contact the school to assist the school with its recycling programme.

School closes on April 23 and will reopen on May 3.
