Creston College cares about the ocean

They had a wonderful time and came up with some catchy and inspirational quotes.

The Grade 1s at Creston College have been learning about the ocean and the negative effects pollution can have on it.

Cecilia Rautenbach of Creston College believes littering is an absolute ‘no no’.

They have covered marine pollution and decided to create posters to promote awareness about the benefits of recycling and great need to protect the ocean as much as possible.

Ulayha Quarsingh of Creston College reminds the community to throw plastic in the bin or recycle it.

They had a wonderful time and came up with some catchy and inspirational quotes.

Some of these included ‘do not throw litter into the sea’ and ‘don’t throw plastic on the ground, throw it in a bin’.

Yokubongwa Mthethwa of Creston College wants people to take care of the ocean.

It would seem that they are more than ready for grade 2!
