Football fans make a difference

The donation to the car guards was to help them through the difficult times many have experienced this year and to give them some encouragement as summer approaches.

Members of the Liverpool Football Club Supporters Club on the South Coast recently made a donation to car guards who work in the Shelly Beach area.

While the club members enjoy football and fellowship, they also like to give back to the community and help where they can.

The donation to the car guards was to help them through the difficult times many have experienced this year and to give them some encouragement as summer approaches.

The club members are now looking forward to the arrival of the touring replica of the premier league trophy which touches down at Action Sports Bar in Marburg this Saturday at noon.

The English Premier League replica trophy, currently bedecked in Liverpool colours.

It’s an opportunity for fans to wear their Liverpool kit and have their photo taken with the trophy.

Then there’s the massive derby against Everton which will kick off at 1.45pm, so fans, friends, family and even foes are all welcome to join in and watch.

After the shock thrashing by Aston Villa two weeks ago, the Reds will no doubt be wanting to get their championship defence back on track.
