Municipality to ‘develop plan’ to repair South Coast beach facilities
Some beach facilities have been vandalised during the lockdown period.

Ray Nkonyeni Municipality spokesman Simon April said the municipality was “finalising the state of readiness of municipal staff to ensure that operations are efficient and effective”.

This comes after RNM’s virtual Joint Operation Centre meeting last Friday.
Mr April said that with regards to repairs of beach facilities, the municipality has regrettably learnt that some had been vandalised during the lockdown period.

“The municipality will assess the damage, develop a plan to effect repairs so that our beaches will be operational by the set date,” said Mr April.
