PSHS welcomes deputy principal

Mr Theunissen is stepping into this vital role after Dale Salotto retired at the end of 2019.

Pete Theunissen has been an integral part of Port Shepstone High School since he joined the school as a teacher in 1990. He is well known for his passionate teaching style and caring approach with pupils.

He joined the management team in 1998 and has built up a reputation for his fair and fatherly approach to discipline.

Mr Theunissen is a dedicated member of the school and has contributed greatly to staff development.

He has consistently inspired and guided staff at Sheppie High with an ever-steady hand, and the school looks forward to this exciting new era of leadership.

Mr Theunissen is stepping into this vital role after Dale Salotto retired at the end of 2019.

It was with great sadness that Sheppie High said farewell to this great man who was a pillar of strength and faithfulness since he joined the school at the beginning of 1982.

He will be sorely missed, but is wished all the best as he embarks on a new chapter in his life.
