Schoolchild struck by vehicle
The boy was on his way to school when the accident occurred.
A SCHOOLBOY (7) is in serious condition after he was struck by a car on the R102 between Ilfracombe and the Mnini dam earlier this morning.
Reports indicate that the child was on his way to school when he ran across the road and was hit by the vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the roadway. After the patient was stabilised, paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital.
