Foundation offers great opportunity to matric pupils

Those interested in being chosen should submit their third term academic results before December 5.

AMANDAWE resident, Xolani Mbutho of the Xmbutho Foundation has done a lot of work with the youth in the Umdoni area.

He and his team recently moved into the premises formerly occupied by Oceanview College in Park Rynie, and hope to now be able to help even more people than before.

“We do a lot of work with the underprivileged, especially young people, and want to help them as much we can,” said Mr Mbutho.

The non-profit organisation is now giving matriculants the opportunity to choose whether they would like to obtain a learner’s license, attend an HIV/Aids counselling course, a cashier’s course, a course in block making or a caregiver’s course.

Those interested in being chosen should submit their third term academic results to the foundation before December 5.

The draw for the five finalists will take place at the foundation’s Park Rynie premises on December 7 at 10am.
