The driver of a bakkie lost control of the vehicle on the N2 near Paddock last night (Sunday) at around 8pm.
The vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance paramedics found there were two occupants, one of whom had died.
“The other occupant was stabilised by paramedics while EMRS and fire services worked to free the patient using specialised rescue equipment,” said Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service spokesman, Craig Botha.
The cause of the accident is not known and police are investigating.
