BANNERS REST

The green re-opening will be this Sunday (27th) with social bowls at 9.30am for 10am.

The club AGM will be held in the Breezeway this Monday (28th) at 10am.

Check the notice board for current news of Saturday League selections, competition dates, new diaries and Christmas lunch.

MARGATE BC

Winners of the John Dory’s competition were Trevor Heywood, Dave Hudkinson, Davie James and Rene Smuts.

Coming up: October 25 – Halfway Ford Port Shepstone Open 2-4-2 at 1.30pm; October 26-27 – Doug Watson Memorial Tournament.

Duty: office – Lenie Geyer; kitchen – Ann Gibson.

Social bowls every Sunday at 9am. Dress casual, bowls and assistance provided

PSCC

The business challenge last Friday was won by Sharolyn Dacey, Barry Krause and Winnie Hess.

THE BELL

Jaxx Restaurant and Abingdon Spar trips winners were Claude Ching, Maureen Vorster and Gail Newby.

In second place were Norman Miston, Arthur Seager and Werner Mody.

Session prize to Kevin Mullen, Alan Wallace and Lyn Harris.

Nominated mixed 2-4-2, sponsored by Fruit & Vegetable City, was won by Artur Lopes and Tammy Gibbons.

Runners-up were Denis Schmidt and Lyn Harris.

Session prize to Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.

TWENI

Mugg and Bean mixed trips was won by Keith Mills, Tammy Gibbons and Peter Anderson.

Runners-up were Mike and Ruth Findlay with Karen Delaney.

Session went to Richard Dunn, Gill Rule with Lyn Fagan.

Women’s pairs winners were Pat Maggs and Anne Payne, from Isobel Killian and Maggs Schmidt.

Session to Yvonne James and Kitty Cochman.

VILLAGE

Winners of the men’s pairs were Gary Hess and Bill Eccles, from Mervyn Barrett and Danny Terblanche.

Sessions went to Cleve Walker and Glenn Hatfield, as well as Tim Pole and Jeff Cronje.
