Free tuition for five lucky learner drivers on the South Coast

To stand in line to win with the X Mbutho Foundation, applicants need to be 18 years or older and come from the rural South Coast.

In celebration of Mandela Day, the X Mbutho Foundation is giving five young people the opportunity to obtain their learner’s licences.

Xolani Mbutho is the founder of this non-profit organisation which aims to help the poor, disabled and destitute.

“We live in difficult times. A lot of people are struggling to survive and are short of basic needs,” said Mr Mbutho.

“Learner’s license tuition will be given at the Scottburgh Library to the five people chosen. They will be taught from scratch and the material will be covered as often as necessary until they perfect it.”

To stand in line to win, applicants need to be 18 years or older and come from the rural South Coast.

The first five people to contact Mr Mbutho will be chosen. To enter, SMS your full name, age and residential area to 081-4201495. Winners will be notified by Mr Mbutho.

The foundation is still very much in need of donations. At the moment there is a high demand for clothing, and books, wheelchairs, food and mattresses will also be gratefully accepted.

X Mbutho Foundation is also looking to rent an outbuilding or small building between Umzinto, Scottburgh and Park Rynie to use as office space, and for two volunteers, a male and a female between the ages of 18 and 25 with matric certificates and driver’s licences.

If you can help, contact Mr Mbutho at 081-4201495 or 072-6706911.
