Brian and Brenda Blumrick continue to lead Hibiscus Rotary

The club, under Brian’s leadership, has flourished and achieved great results this past year.

Rotarians were all in agreement that handing over the reins of leadership had never been so easy. Current president Brian Blumrick and his wife Brenda were re-inducted  as president and Ann’s president respectively of the Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast (Margate and Uvongo) last Saturday.

The club, under Brian’s leadership, has flourished and achieved great results this past year. Wilma Lig the PRO for Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast said a number of Rotarians were awarded and acknowledged for their hard work and dedication.

Anne Thompson the Assistant District Governor Anne was presented with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award for her commitment to bringing about change in the community.

“Anne Thompson the Assistant District Governor and a Rotarian at the club was presented with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award for her commitment to bringing about change in our community. Recently inducted Rotarian Jean-Pierre Loumeau received the Rotarian Of The Year award for his passion and energy. No task is ever too much for him,” said said.

Mrs Lig noted that the Rotary theme for 2019/2020 was ‘Rotary Connects The World’ and that is exactly the club’s aim to do.
