Jai Hind Primary maths boffins fare well

Seven schools competed in the event and Ethan Mohan placed first in the gr 5 category.

Excitement filled the air at Jai Hind Primary when the much-anticipated gr 4 excursion to Wild Waves Water Park took place.

Energetic pupils, accompanied by teachers and members of the governing body, had a wonderful fun-filled day.

Under the watchful eyes of lifeguards, they experienced the thrilling water slides and adrenaline-inducing rides.

Mathematics pupils from grades 4 to 7 recently took part in the Ugu Mental Maths Challenge.

Seven schools competed in the event and Ethan Mohan placed first in the gr 5 category. All entrants received a certificate and a medal.

The schools’ netball, volleyball and soccer teams eagerly took part in last week’s Winter Games hosted at Port Shepstone Senior Primary.

Competition was tough and players gained valuable experience and improved match skills.
