A reminder that Pennington is still in a position to pay a stipend to the SAPS reservists to retain their presence, which together with the volunteer patrollers makes a meaningful difference to safety in our area.
Last week their quick response averted two potentially dangerous situations for community members. In both cases waiting for assistance from further afield could have resulted in a very different outcome.
A reminder that none of this would be possible without the contributions from the community, so please keep the membership forms rolling in. The monthly contribution is R150 per household. Once again grateful thanks to Lesley Stephenson for her kind donation of a packet of cat food for the stray cats.
The Pennington Market will be held at Relton Hall, Pennington on Saturday, April 20.
