Jai Hind Primary held its annual swimming gala last Friday.
Despite inclement weather, parents and guests turned out in large numbers to show their support.
Young swimmers who trained hard and won races were rewarded with medals for their sterling efforts.

The exciting walking and pajama races and the relays proved most popular.
Azalea house emerged victorious, Jasmine placed second and Protea and Zinnia came third and fourth respectively.
All pupils were treated to a delicious doughnut and a refreshing cool drink afterwards.
Sincere thanks go to Tower 13 lifeguards for ensuring that pupils were safe.

The school is extremely proud of athlete Esethu Madlala for being selected for the provincial team that will compete at the National Athletics Track and Field Championships in Germiston this coming weekend.
Esethu will compete in the 100m sprint event. The school wishes both him and the provincial team the best of luck.
