A CYCLIST is fighting for his life after his bicycle and a car collided on the Izotsha Road yesterday (Thursday). Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying several meters from the twisted remains of his bike. The cyclist was critically injured. “After he was placed on a ventilator and immobilised on a trauma board, paramedics took him to a local hospital,” said Mr Botha.
Shocking. People driving cars trucks have no respect for cyclists and motorcyclists. Something should be down about this. I do hope this persons recovers and that the person that hit him should pay medical bills and buy a new bike. :(
