The Rock Music Bistro has found a new home at Port Shepstone Country Club.

And to celebrate they have managed to book one of South Africa’s best singer, songwriters Robin Auld to perform at their first gig.

Save the date, November 9 at 7pm for an evening of slide guitar, harmonica, African blues guitar stylings and soul vocals that will feature in the fresh sound of Robin Auld.

Well-known to SA audiences with his hits like `All of Woman’ and `Baby You Been Good’, his music over the years has evolved from the pop-rock sound of his early recordings to the contemporary mix of blues and roots that makes his sound today.

Based in Cape Town, he has performed and recorded in New York, London, California, Glasgow and Nashville.

Born in Lusaka, Zambia to Scots parents, Robin’s childhood was spent alternating between Southern Africa and Scotland; a journey reflected in the African and Celtic influences in his music. He learned to play the guitar by listening to Hendrix, Ry Cooder and Neil Young.

Tickets cost R100 each – no charge for children under 10 years.

Booking is essential as no tickets will be sold at the door. For more information phone 078 4447130.
