Umzintovale Primary pupils march to raise awareness

They walked all the way from their school to the Umzinto Police Station where they were greeted by several Saps members and taken on a tour of the station.

Umzintovale Primary  pupils marched the streets of Umzinto carrying placards highlighting various issues and chanting slogans.

Some of the issues addressed on their placards were about the abuse against women and children, child trafficking, pollution and more.

They walked all the way from their school to the Umzinto Police Station where they were greeted by several Saps members – some of whom were former pupils at the school.

The pupils were shown around the police station, charge office and various cells. They were then given some safety tips.
