Family flair at Southbroom Golf Club
A little luck sometimes helps you collect the winner's purse.
FOX brothers John and Dave teamed up with Anton and Louise Leal to win the open combined alliance at Southbroom Golf Club last week Saturday to win on 84 points.
They had some luck, counting out Dave Page, Gordon Moody, Doug Butcher and Malcolm Moorley, as well as Lizzie Currie, Janet Humphrey, Jeanne Powell and Sharon Turnbull-Jackson.

Rory O’Donnell won the Chicken Run last Friday on 18 points.
The previous Thursday’s 9-hole competition was won on 17 points by Michelle Davies, on a countout from Lee Mutch. Heleen Hissey was next on 15 points.
The men’s alliance was won on 88 points by Dirk Human, George Harty, Graham Harty and D Odendaal, by two from Chris Ledden, Paul Lawson, Rob Meydell and a ‘ghost’.
