Great grandmasters gold at Deloitte Challenge for Andrew Spence
There were some good times clocked by local runners.
ANDREW Spence took gold in his age category (great grandmasters) in the 10km race at last weekend’s Deloitte Challenge on the Dolphin Coast.
It’s a massive event and so three starting points are used.
The 42.2km marathon started at the Lifestyle Centre in Ballito.
The 21.1km half-marathon got going from Sibaya Casino and the 10km event from Virginia Soccer Club.
In other news, Lindelani Itabor ran the 50km Om die Dam Ultramarathon and finished in a time of 6.14.
