Maritzburg Marathon done and dusted for South Coast Striders

Fitness levels are on the up, that's for sure.

You can tell the Comrades Marathon is not too far off. Runners everywhere are putting in the miles in order to get fit for the big race in a few months’ time.

A total of 60 South Coast Striders took part in the Maritzburg Marathon last weekend.

The majority ran the 42.2km race with others running the 21.1km event. A handful of others, mainly juniors, ran the 10km.

One of these was Andrew Lattin in his first official race. His father Stephen ran the 42.2km.
