Time for tennis seniors to serve up some aces
The 'Fab Four' will be flying the South Coast flag with pride.
FOUR tennis players from the South Coast in George for the South African Seniors Tennis Interprovincial which starts today.
Raj Naganna (Umtentweni Tennis Club) and Ralph Burls (Uvongo Tennis Club) are competing in the 70-75 age group.
Raj is currently seeded three in the country and so has a good chance of being chosen for South Africa and a subsequent tour to the USA.
Rod Hackland is a seasoned campaigner in terms of seniors tennis, now playing in his 13th event, and will be in the 65-70 age group.
He is a member at Douglas Mitchell as is fellow competitor Jules Salottolo, in the 75-80 age group.
Teams of four take part in a mixed format.
