Five supects arrested in Marburg following hijacking in Umbilo

The officers requested backup and officers from Port Shepstone Public Order Policing (POP) and K9 responded.

THE tracking system on a vehicle hijacked at gun point in Umbilo last week led to the arrest of five suspects.

Law Enforcement officers Sydney Pillay and Stanford Jingela followed the tracker signal to the Marburg area, where they found a white Toyota Noah with five occupants.

The officers immediately requested backup and officers from Port Shepstone Public Order Policing (POP) and K9 responded.

The vehicle was intercepted and the suspects aged 22, 23, 26, 27 and 28 were arrested.
