Fall outside tavern leads to Park Rynie man (45) dying hours later from suspected head injury

The post mortem results are awaited.

LIQUOR was apparently the cause of the fall which led to the death of 45-year-old Russel James Keightley.

Mr Keightley died hours after suffering a head injury in the fall.

It is claimed that Mr Keightley had been drinking at a well-known tavern near his Preston Road, Park Rynie home on February 18 and, when he left the establishment,  he fell and hit his head on the pavement.
