TWENTY-THREE people were injured when a bakkie overturned on the P200 in Gamalakhe last Saturday afternoon.
Reports from the scene indicate that one person was critically injured while eight others suffered moderate injuries. The rest escaped with minor injuries.
The injured had apparently been sitting in the bakkie’s load bin.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside various emergency services on scene to stabilise the injured before they were taken to various hospitals in the area.
