THE Port Shepstone police officer who was arrested and charged with rape appeared in the Port Shepstone Court last Thursday.
The police officer, based at the Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) in Port Shepstone, was arrested by detectives from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).
He was released on R3 000 bail and the case was postponed to July 25.
