Father murdered after child’s party
The father of three was found dead in his bedroom.
A BIRTHDAY celebration in Gamalakhe ended with a murder after shots rang out at the home in Eskhaleni on Tuesday night this week.
Manqoba Ncane (31) had just celebrated his child’s seventh birthday at his house when he was killed.
“After the party my brother left to go to his house which is on the same property,” said Mondli Ncane, Manqoba’s younger brother.
Mondli is the ANCYL Lower South Coast, Deputy Regional Chairman.
“When another family member went to check on him, he found him lying in a pool of blood,” said Mondli.
Manqoba has three children aged five, seven and 13.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka said Manqoba was shot twice in the head and four times in the body.
“He was found dead in his bedroom. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage,” said Captain Mfeka. No arrests have yet been made.
Manqoba was responsible for setting up the speed protection cameras on Marine Drive.
