Creston appoints executive head

Noel Coetzee is delighted to be returning to live in his coastal home province once again.

CRESTON College’s governing body has announced the appointment of Noel Coetzee to the position of executive head.

A BA (UNISA) graduate, majoring in Communications and International Politics, Mr Coetzee completed the IRDP at Stellenbosch Business School and was awarded an MBA from the Business School of The Netherlands.

He holds a diploma in Business Management and has attended a number of in-house and association training courses, which broadened his vision on education, management, finance, and industrial relations.

He is a Thomas International Personality Profile Tester, a member of a number of educational and management institutions and charity organisations and a dedicated Christian.

His organisational skills, experience in dealing with government bodies in industry, education, and fulfilling the requirements of the applicable legislation for these institutions, together with his problem-solving and analytical skills, will be invaluable in his new position.

In mid-2014, he was appointed as Director of Education for Pembury Lifestyle Group (PLG), who were branching out into independent school education. Five schools were opened during the time that Mr Coetzee was at the helm – one in KZN and the other four in Gauteng.

Noel is married to Mandy and they have two adult children, who are university graduates. He includes among his hobbies and interests a healthy outdoor lifestyle, bird watching, boating and caravaning. He is a keen cyclist and has completed nine Argus Cycle Tours. He grew up in KwaZulu-Natal and was educated at Northlands Boys’ High School.
