A COUPLE living in Umdoni Road, Pennington, were woken up by their alarm going off at about 2am on Monday night.
The husband and wife went to investigate and discovered an intruder at an open window. Once he realised he had been spotted, the intruder ran towards the street.
“Several items such as laptops, a camera, cellphones, a tablet and wallets were found to have been stolen,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
A housebreaking case is being investigated.
