The first IPRA pageant to be held in Sebokeng this Saturday

This first of its kind IPRA pageant will focus on character more than physical appearance as it aims to motivate young boys and girls.

SEBOKENG. – A group of young people from Sebokeng are coming together to make a positive change in their society. This is after they launched a modelling agency called Imperfect Perfections Royal Agency (IPRA).

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, director of IPRA modelling agency Mosa Lelosa (17) says the objective of the agency is to encourage young girls and boys to be self-motivated, regain their mental strength and self-confidence.

This first of its kind pageant will focus on character more than physical appearance. “We will be focusing on different talents for boys and girls from 11-17 years.

“We want to get young kids away from negative things that happen. It’s school holidays and we want to keep them busy. There is no need for kids to have experience because we provide all the training in order for participants to know what is required.”

Kamogelo Leshodi (20) says parents can bring their kids to offer support on the day of the event. We have forms that they have to fill in and give us permission to take care of their kids for the day.

Bongane Ntjumayelo (18) says their vision is to become nationally competitive and represent Vaal.

“Most young people in Vaal are doing negative things like drugs. The concept is to change this by giving young people an avenue to explore their various talents. Right now, our starting point is modelling but we will grow into other things.”

The event will be held in 07 January 2023 at the Eldorado Theater in zone 14 Sebokeng. For more information call Mosa on Lelosa on 081 544 6720.
