What’s for dinner? Chutney sausage and slap chips

Are you looking for a traditional slap chips meal to enjoy with your family? Then try this beef sausage chutney with slap chips recipe.

Serves 4

You’ll need: Harvestime Slap Chips; 700g beef sausages; 1 large onion, sliced; 2 teaspoons crushed garlic; 2 heaped tablespoons of curry powder; 5 tomatoes, chopped; chopped coriander; salt and pepper to taste.

How to: 

Cook the Harvestime Slap Chips according to package instructions.

Fry the sausages in a little bit of oil and remove from the pan.

Once the sausages are cooled, slice the sausages.

To the same pan add the sliced onions and fry until translucent.

Add the garlic and tomatoes and allow to simmer for 10 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.

Now add the curry powder and add a dash of water and cook for 10 minutes.4

Add the sliced sausage and chopped coriander.

Serve with slap chips and white bread.
