VIDEO: The pillars of mental health: Good sleep, exercise, and healthy diet

Our lifestyles determine how good or poor our mental health is. Watch the video below for more:

People’s sleeping patterns, exercise regime and type of diet actually determine the state of their mental health.

Research shows that people who sleep for about 8 hours a night have shown signs of good mental health, while those who sleep less that 8 hours or more show signs of poor mental health.

Those who engage in frequent exercise have also proven to be more mentally healthier than those who don’t engage in any exercise at all. Those whose diets consisted more of raw fruits and vegetables also show a better mental health than those who don’t.

The state of our mental health is a reflection of our overall life and health.
