Safa Sedibeng President recovers from COVID-19

"My 83-year-old mother, Mrs Ruby Mkhabela who is also diabetic, tested positive for COVID-19 and she has also recovered."

SEBOKENG.- Safa Sedibeng President, Solly Mkhabela, recently made a remarkable recovery from COVID-19. Mkhabela, who is a popular businessman, tested positive for COVID-19 last month after attending a funeral of one of his relatives. As a result of this, his annual Mandela Day commemoration, which is hosted through his foundation (The Solly Mkhabela Foundation) was put on hold as he had to work on his recovery. In a media statement released on behalf of his Foundation, Mkhabela said after he discovered that he was positive, he adhered to his doctor’s orders to take his medication and isolate himself, despite his hectic business and football schedule.

“All was well during the funeral service as everyone was complying with the rules and regulations of lockdown. This is where I had contracted the virus and I should have known better by not sticking around after the funeral. My 83-year-old mother, Mrs Ruby Mkhabela who is also diabetic, tested positive for COVID-19 and she has also recovered from the deadly virus. I just want to truly say thank you to all after I received messages from concerned people,” he said.
Mkhabela urges people to practice caution when they attend funerals, gatherings and or meetings.
