Woman burned, man seriously assaulted
Medics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to a nearby provincial hospital for further care.
VANDERBIJLPARK. – ER24 reports that a woman sustained serious burn injuries and a man was seriously assaulted this morning at a block of flats on Becquerel Road in Vanderbijlpark.
It is said that ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two patients in the court of the flats surrounded by local authorities and Provincial Services.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says, “Medics assessed the patients and found that the woman had sustained serious burn wounds to her chest, back and arms while the man had sustained soft tissue injuries over most of his body.
“Medics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to a nearby provincial hospital for further care. The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
