Masipa shines above all her peers

VEREENIGING. – The local branch of the Boston City Campus and Business College acknowledged and introduced 55 students for graduation recently at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre. The graduation ceremony was crowded by parents who were full of joy and pride when their family members were called on stage to receive their credentials. College Branch Manager Patience Mahlaba was thrilled and acknowledged the efforts of students and staff to better the country by producing productive business-minded graduates.
Mahlaba was accompanied by a college entourage of lecturers to hand out credentials to the students who were looking forward to their future. The 55 students were handed their graduation certificates while others were also acknowledged for their outstanding performance. Mahlaba said: “Through hard work and dedicated staff anything is possible.”
Sedibeng Ster had the opportunity to speak to the student with the highest achievement. Gomelemo Unity Masipa, a Tourism student who obtained four distinctions who said, “I want to excel in college. I want to be counted amongst the best the college has ever had. This is my opportunity to perform beyond expectation, since my mother was there for me and my siblings as a single parent.”
