The Samsung South African Sport Hall of Fame will be in Carnival City from April 9 to 24.
Amongst the attractions will be the opportunity for visitors to test their skills with virtual simulators for golf, rugby and soccer codes.
Visitors will also get to meet and greet some of South Africa’s sporting greats from today and yesteryear as well as have an exclusive look at what they can expect from the future permanent home of the South African Sport Hall of Fame at Sun City’s Entertainment Centre, which is currently under construction.
The roaming Samsung South African Sport Hall of Fame is brought to Carnival City by Samsung and Sun International. The official partners of the South African Sport Hall of Fame will also be showcasing their latest products, including Samsung and Subaru.
Food, drinks, sports clothing and memorabilia will be available for purchase from various exhibitors.
Samsung is an exclusive brand partner of the Hall of Fame for 2016. “It is a remarkable opportunity for us to show how Samsung technology can be used to enhance and create an interactive experience of this magnitude while recognising the abilities of our talented sportsmen and women,” says Mike van Lier, Director of Enterprise Business Division, Samsung Electronics SA.
Opening times are 11:00 to 20:00 on Sundays through to Thursdays, and 10:00 to 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. A nominal entrance fee of R30 will apply to all guests over 12 years old; children under 12 can enter free.
